First the facts; Pluto enters Capricorn on January 25, 2008, retrogrades back into Sagittarius on June 13, 2008, and then finally stays in Capricorn starting on November 26th, 2008. Pluto will stay in the sign Capricorn for the next 15 years (March 2023).
The entrance of Pluto through its stay in any sign is to transform, the meanings of the sign. This may happen through Pluto’s methods and themes of death, rebirth, destruction,irrevocable change, and through absolute power. Pluto can transform in many ways through terrorism, control, corruption, decay, dictators, illnesses. It must destroy the old to give birth to the new this is the order and cycle of life and death.
I would like to digress before moving on to what may happen while Pluto the now called Dwarf Planet goes through Capricorn. Prior to Pluto entering into Sagittarius in 1995, there was lots of discussion about what would be happening for the next thirteen years as it traveled through the sign of the archer. (1995-2008). Sagittarius is the sign that rules over the following topics, subjects, and concepts; Religion, Philosophy, Colleges, Foreigners, Long distance travel, Foreign lands, Freedom, and even borders. It is obvious from this list of ruler-ship that those issues where of major world concern for the Pluto in Sagittarius years. As some of the reminders of the events and issues, number one the world “Holy War” was predicted, from foreigners from distant lands over religion, and long distance travel. They used the element of the sign of Sagittarius (fire) bombs, explosions to convey this transformation. Another place this manifested was in the school, and University systems the latest being Virginia Tech.
So what does Pluto in Capricorn foretell on a world level?
We must first look at what the sign Capricorn signifies on all levels to be able predict,world wide events and changes. Capricorn is an Earth sign, and rules over the structure of society, the government, business and corporations, status, the Father figure, your career, mountains, time-Kronos, and the patriarchal society. Other mundane ideas Capricorn rules over are; builders, cement, coal, civil service, bones, chiropractors, gall bladder, gall stones, skeletal system, politics, farmers and ranchers, old age (social security), the boss.
The above give all the concepts you need to put together some ideas about what the next years foretell.
Changes I see; Social security transformed or eliminated, the destruction of the patriarchal society, major (giant) corporations falling apart, forcing people to become their own boss, and live their own purpose not Mr. Corporates vision, major stock market fall as this governs big business, major changes in government structure. There will be a marked increase in earth quakes especially with mountains, volcanoes. During this time the matriarchal society will become stronger, during this duration of time there will be a woman president in the United States. It is time to start making your own way in this world, become your own boss. Major Governments will be re-constructed. The United Nations will be revamped or no more.
Going even deeper with the predictions as Pluto ingresses into Capricorn, the asteroids and planets that it touches will give some clues as to what is in store. In the January ingress chart Pluto is conjunct Venus (Female, woman) in Capricorn (Power) which is very telling. Pluto is also conjunct two female asteroid figures; Brigitte, the Celtic Goddess of; mothering, fertility, creative inspiration, protectress, healer, a guardian of children. She was also known as the Goddess of agriculture, medicine, and music.
The other deity is known as Ariadne, who fell in love with Theseus and showed him how to get out of the labyrinth (maze). Can this be indicative of a female (president) rescuing us and getting us out of the labyrinth we are in? On the other side the asteroid Intel is opposing Pluto, what does this mean for this company? And finally squaring Pluto in this chart is the asteroid Conscience at zero Libra. Are our consciences going to catch up to us?
In the November Pluto Ingress Chart… Pluto is exactly opposing asteroid Mexico at 0 Cancer! Look for many changes happening in that country. Asteroid Toyota is conjunct Pluto, another company folding, or is it representing Japan? Squaring Pluto is asteroid Dallas at 0 Aries, as is asteroids Ireland, McDonald, and Rolling Stone at 0 Libra. Looks like lots of transformation in those Cities, countries, businesses and even a band?
